Solar Energy

The world's insatiable demand for energy is rapidly altering the fundamentals of its production. Demand for oil is accelerating as supplies are quickly diminishing. Remaining reserves of oil have become much more difficult and expensive to extract. As demand outstrips supply, shortages will become even more severe, affecting the globe and its inhabitants in immeasurable ways.

Perhaps the single greatest solution to our energy and economic woes is the prospect of virtually limitless energy. This concept has therefore spurred the search for cleaner, renewable sources, such as solar and wind energy.

With ongoing innovations, global demand for solar energy has boomed and is rapidly gaining momentum as a cost competitive, reliable source of clean energy. In one second, the sun gives off more energy than people have used since the beginning of time.

Most solar panels are made from silicon, which we produce. Silicon is the same compound in which sand is made up of and is the second most abundant material on earth next to oxygen. With recent investments in solar, and President Barack Obama’s proposed energy plan targeting $150 Billion into clean technology ultimately creating more than 5 million jobs, solar has become a more viable and sustainable form of energy.
